On / Opus III

Caroline Lam / Krassen Krastev / David Zagari

6th -7th July 20.00

Parco Tor Tre Teste
Appuntamento a Largo Serafino Cevasco ore 19.30

On /Opus III invites to gain interior strength from our heart and our guts. Like a perpetuum mobilethat is a machine that keeps itself in motion by continually rotating around its own axis On /Opus III brings together three aerial bodies that challenge gravity. Similar to the movement of the whirling dervishes the extreme physicality of this performance renews the aesthetics and the practice of pole dance. The diversity of emotions presented to the public is transcribed in a poem at the same time both brutal and delicate. The show combines the contemplation of the bodies suspended in air and the empathy for their vulnerability. The dancers offer us a moment of suspension between mediatation and hypnosis, a pause to question the world, an invitation to stop, take a breath, let the mind and the soul float. A hypnotic kinetic human sculpture.
