KRUID KRUID provides an innovative immersive experience in a changing environment. It produces sensations that are full of differences, fun, understanding, confrontation, construction, destruction. To achieve this, we adopt the host space as a canvas and draw a live 3D virtual world on top of it using mixed reality. Our drawings are viewed through virtual reality devices, which become the narrative vehicle of the work. At the beginning, the narrative is dormant: it is made up of the 3D forms inherent in the lifeless environment. There is no story without human interaction. Soon, the bodies that of the performer Sau-Ching and those of the audience begin to generate the narrative emergently, contributing and modifying layers on the canvas. Thus, each participant's actions are imprinted in the changing environment and the imagination.

Carles Castaño e Sau-Ching Wong

come from different backgrounds and artistic disciplines. The Barcelona based duo Sau-Ching Wong and Carles Castaño Oliveros, propose and research a new language through their shared vision of finding new meanings and purposes within virtuality and the human body. Together Sau-Ching and Carles have exposed their multidisciplinary performances at Grec Festival Barcelona, Festival Bucles in Valencia, Teatre Tantarantana, Arts Santa Mònica and Picasso Museum in Barcelona. Carles is a realtime 3D artist and brings his experience as a mechanic along, combining vast installations with digital art elements. Previously he co-directed a Barcelona young gallery, TKM Room and he has exhibited his work at MIRA Digital Fest, MMMADArt, Boiler room, Arts Santa Mònica and HYPERHOUSE to name a few. Sau-Ching graduated at CODARTS in performing arts. As a contemporary dancer she has worked with LeineRoebana, Zappalà Danza, IVONA and Metrosdansa to name a few. The past 15 years until today she has been in creations and touring around the world with La Veronal, directed by Marcos Morau. Apart from teaching movement and dance, her interest in collaborating with other disciplined artists has involved her as a director and choreographer in various projects.
Carles è un artista che opera in ambienti 3D realizzati in tempo reale. Ha co-diretto la galleria TKM Room di Barcellona, ed esposto le sue installazioni al MIRA Digital Fest, MMMADArt, Boiler room, Arts Santa Mònica e HYPERHOUSE.
Sau-Ching si è diplomata al CODARTS in arti dello spettacolo. Come danzatrice contemporanea ha lavorato con LeineRoebana, Zappalà Danza, IVONA e Metrosdansa. Negli ultimi 15 anni è interprete e coreografa de La Veronal, diretta da Marcos Morau.
